Brethren,
Welcome back to lodge. Our Regular meeting in September had an excellent turnout as was focused on our return to our labours.
Many housekeeping items were discussed, voted on, and accepted. It was a great way to ease back into the year as we all settled into our new positions. Our Committee reports included the reading of the minutes from our CoGP, a report from Grand Lodge on the state of Masonry, as well as a thorough report from Bro. Chris Kalimootoo on the Cornerstone Project. VW Bro Garry Perkins closed the evening with an enlightening education piece on the history and application of the Grand Honours.
At our Emergent meeting Bro. Sunny Kamra was raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. Once again it was wonderful to see a great turnout to witness and participate in the evening. Congratulations to Bro. Kamra as he continues his journey. It was also a pleasure to have the Grand Secretary of Grand Lodge of Brazil, RW Bro. Moacir Primo, in attendance to observe the ceremony.
Our Regular meeting in October will see the initiation of Mr. Jeron Hall followed by the raising of Bro. Nithin Leviero at our emergent meeting. Please mark these dates in your calendar and try to make it out to support the candidates.
I'm pleased to see our new WhatsApp account has been activated. Thanks to Bro. Nithin Liviero for setting this up. The purpose of this communication tool is to help the Brethren stay engaged and up to date with the goings on in our lodge. It is also a platform to ask questions and an opportunity to provide feedback in an effort to enhance your Masonic experience. The app is a private account and is only available to members of our lodge. Expect to see an email from the Secretary with an invitation and instructions on how to sign up.
In the coming year you will be hearing lots about the Cornerstone Project. Bro. Chris Kalimootoo and I have discussed the many ways on how we can achieve this designation. In order to do so we will require your participation so please stay tuned for more information. Thanks to Bro. Kalimootoo for doing much of the heavy lifting in getting us pointed in the right direction.

"The secret of Masonry, like the secret of life, can be known only by those who seek it, serve it, live it. It cannot be uttered; it can only be felt and acted. It is, in fact, an open secret, and each man knows it according to his quest and capacity. Like all things worth knowing, no one can know it for another and no man can know it alone."
